Three is the magic number
The Incom-CNS Group is celebrating being undefeated champions of Unified Communications in the UK, as we were crowned winners of the Best UC Solution Award at the Comms National Awards, for the third consecutive year.
The annual Comms National Awards is billed as the ICT industry Oscars and the coveted honours are hard fought. The industry’s ‘who’s who’ came together for a much anticipated, if unusual, ‘virtual’ awards ceremony last week which was superbly hosted by radio and TV presenter, Colin Murray, and live streamed by organisers, Comms Dealer Magazine.
The high quantity and standard of entries across UC and Cloud categories this year was reflective of the level of digital transformation taking place across the UK in 2020, as organisations attempt to mitigate the effects of coronavirus on their business and implement remote solutions for their workforce.
Having previously won this prestigious award both in 2018 for a solution at The Range and again in 2019 for Chubb Fire & Security, Incom-CNS was shortlisted this year for a complex project undertaken for global wire systems manufacturer, Gripple, and overcame a record number of rival solutions to retain the title.
The judges were impressed by our implementation of a Mitel MiVoice Business solution across multiple UK sites, as well as a significant SIP migration across the whole company estate. The team at Incom-CNS worked tirelessly to expediate the installation to ensure remote working was in place and fully functional as lockdown loomed in March 2020.
The solution at Gripple, bespoke to the customer’s needs, has proven so successful that phase 2 will see the solution rolled out globally to sites in the US, Australia, Japan and across Europe.
