Front-runners to Do the Double!

We are proud of the fact that every year since 2006, Incom has been selected as a Finalist in at least one category of the prestigious Comms Business Awards, for our innovative solutions. To mark a decade of commendations, Incom has just been announced as a front-runner for not one, but two of this year’s coveted industry Awards.

Our entries for Enterprise Convergence Solution and Reseller of the Year (Medium) were based on a case study of our ShoreTel UC solution for retail giant, The Range. Incom has installed and maintained Panasonic systems for The Range for more than 20 years, across their national network of retail outlets. This latest deployment of a ShoreTel UC platform replaces their legacy PABX system, supporting almost 300 people and, ultimately, 4000 handsets across multiple locations including a multi-site contact centre. The company’s ambitious growth plans include opening 30 new retail outlets annually, overseas expansion and a move to new premises accommodating over 700 people.

Being chosen as a finalist or receiving a trophy at the Comms Business Awards has real significance. The awards are recognised in the industry for their integrity, with winners chosen purely on merit. The results are one of the industry’s best kept secrets and only those directly involved are aware of the winners’ names until they are announced on the night. Guests from the Comms, IT and Mobile Channel will gather to hear the results from celebrity host Lenny Henry at the ceremony at The London Lancaster on 20th June.
