Incom-CNS retains Best Enterprise UC title at Comms National Awards

There was yet more glory for the Incom-CNS team at the Comms National Awards in London last night, as we overcame unprecedented competition to retain our title for Best Enterprise UC Solution, winning the award for the second, consecutive year.

Shortlisted as finalists in three of the biggest categories: Best Enterprise UC Solution, Best Enterprise Cloud Solution and Best Enterprise Vertical Market Solution, we were victorious, yet again, in front of an audience of industry peers at the illustrious black tie event at the Hilton, Park Lane on 10th October.

Now in their 17th year, the Comms National Awards are independently judged by a panel of experts to recognise excellence and innovation in the industry. The awards ceremony is a prestigious occasion in the Comms Channel calendar, always boasting top class presenters and entertainment. This year’s event was hosted by legendary journalist and BBC newsreader, Huw Edwards, and the audience was treated to a performance of 80s classics from Spandau Ballet frontman, Tony Hadley.

Collecting the award with fellow Incom-CNS director, Jason Kilvert; Group CEO, David Hughes, commented: “Winning such a coveted prize, back-to-back, is testimony to the experience and consistency of our team and their commitment to excellence in solution design and customer service. Seeing the quality of the shortlisted entries and the class of the businesses we were up against, really brings home what an amazing achievement it is to have scooped this award again. We are incredibly proud and happy!”

The successful award submission was based around the Mitel UC solution Incom-CNS implemented for Chubb Fire & Security, the UK’s leading fire safety and security solutions provider. The multi-site, hybrid Cloud solution included migration to SIP trunks across the entire estate and a revolutionary self-service, call handling system to prioritise vulnerable callers. Judges were impressed with how the project has improved customer experience, enhanced collaboration across sites and delivered outstanding cost-savings and ROI.

In October 2019, the Incom-CNS Group is celebrating three decades at the leading edge of business communications and it seems fitting to have been nominated for three highly prized industry honours. To retain the title of Best Enterprise UC Solution is yet another fantastic accolade to add to our substantial trophy cabinet and is the icing on our 30th birthday cake!
